RS Lesson Summary
The summary of this past week's RS Lesson has been posted to the calendar item so that you can reference what was discussed.
Cleaning the Church
August is Page Ward’s month to clean the church. This Saturday families with last names
beginning with R through Z are asked to come at 7 a.m.
Relief Society Activity Meeting
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 28. Relief Society will be meeting to make 72
hour kits.
Bishop’s Scrapbook (a surprise)
Please finish your page for the scrapbook for Bishop Erickson by the night of the Feast for
a Feast (in September). Each family in the ward is asked to make a 12 x 12 scrapbook page
for him. Be creative and get your children involved – this could be a great FHE project.
Questions? Call Tracy Morris.
Visiting Teaching
School has started and it is a time of new beginnings – for all of us. In planning your
schedule, please remember the sisters assigned to you. Visit a sister and give the lesson as
often as you can, but, please make a special effort to do this at least once a quarter. If you
can’t make it to her home in a given month, call her, text her, send her an email or mail her
a note. Show her you care.
Clothing-and-Everything-Else Exchange
This activity will be moving out to October so save up your stuff. More information coming.
“Wherefore, be faithful; stand in the office which I have appointed unto you; succor the weak, lift up the hands which hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees” -D&C 81:5.
Relief Society Purpose
Relief Society Purpose: The Relief Society is an auxiliary to the priesthood. All auxiliary organizations exist to help Church members grow in their testimonies of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the restored gospel. Through the work of the auxiliaries, members receive instruction, encouragement, and support as they strive to live according to gospel principles.
